Natural Refinement

In these works, found objects or handmade. I allow nature, or the nature of the human touch to polish and alter the final product, not knowing how it will be returned to me. To some this is a worrying process but to others working with the materials you are using rather than against them creates the most facinating products. Allowing the natural properties of the materials and oils on the skin to play a part in my work. 'Polishing it off'.

In these strange times, viewing almost everything at a 2 metre distance or though the internet has given me a completely new perspective on life. Everything is almost in miniature at the moment.
